Overview

  • Opened on June 30, 1966 with Block Buildings
  • Facilities such as Wolgaegwan (1978), International Skate Rink (2000), Gaesungwan (2003) extended. Spread over almost one hundred thousand square meters of land, consists of 24 buildings, including gymnasiums and dormitories at present.
  • Training facilities for 20 different sport events such as athletics, swimming, gymnastics, archery, taekwondo, wrestling, judo, badminton, fencing, table tennis and skating.
  • Selecting the best athletes to compete in the Olympics and Asian Games by offering financial assistance and subsidies.
